flyfisher Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 . . . . Just cooking the Sunday roast while watching the Blues Bros 2000 on ITV4 with a chilled bottle of Chablis. What's not to like? Quote
Subbeh Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013
What's not to like?
Everything bar the music I'd say, the sort of movie that should never have seen the light of day . Quote
Lynottfan Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 it has its moments, but they are few imho. But it is easy viewing, enjoy the roast Quote
what you don't enjoy the car chases, the smashes or playing "name/spot the celebrity"?? After all what else is on the TV?? - Spurs have already beaten Arsenal - so what can you watch that's going to match that?? Quote
wateroftyne Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 It's not as bad as people make out, I reckon. The soundtrack is tremendous. Quote
flyfisher Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 Well, I wouldn't pretend it's Oscar material, but who wants something meaningful and thought-provoking on a Sunday afternoon while cooking the dinner? Having said that, this sequence makes a pretty good point . . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmDjBONCXEo Quote
Geek99 Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I recorded it and deleted it after 5 mins. Absolutely dreadful Quote
chris_b Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Great soundtrack. Who cares about the acting. Quote
Big_Stu Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 Never seen it, just small bits like the above & have no intention to see the rest. There was so much build up to it that the end result was bound to be a failure. One rumour was that James Belushi was going to do it; but having the kid & Goodman in there was just . Knowing that Dan Ackroyd is seriously into all that, big-time, makes me think he lost track along the way, it can't have been $$ signs - can it? Anyway - I've got all the tracks, that's what counts for me. Quote
