What websites to find Drummer?

I know of partysounds and joinmyband but are there any other good musician wanted websites that are worth looking at to find a drummer

I've always advertised for players on Gumtree. Ok, you get the occasional bedroom player or dreamer come forward, but all in all it's been pretty good so far.

mmm an acoustic trio is sounding good right now.
I've had a drummer apply via partysounds - he lives 40 miles away and doesnt have any transport.......
and another who asked my age and got back to me and said i was too young! no one has told me that for MANY years ha ha

Actually an acoustic trio would give me an excuse to make myself a rob allen style bass that I've been longing for

you will ! I have all the wood and the idea, just not the time right now, it's currently 3rd in line to be made....but might get bumped up the list if the drummers dont work out.

For my surf band, I looked up all the drum tutors and then emailed them all asking if they had a pupil looking for something different. The one we found has proved to be a real gem.

What a great idea, I guess it would work for players of other instruments and even singers .
