plumbob
This is great , but to be honest the full set of episodes sounds brill ! Made my evening last night ,couldn't stop watching them. Great to see a great bunch of people and Daryl promoting young true talent ,check out the vids with the Company of Theives among others . Anybody coming with me to uncle Daryl's ? woodster
Me! I've been hooked on this for a couple of weeks now. There's a great version of this tune with Chromeo too!!

ratman
I got turned on to this show recently. I love it. Until, that is, I listened to the link above. Does anyone agree with me that Cee Lo really isn't much of a singer? He mumbles his way through most of the song, awful delivery. The band are on it as to be expected but he's a major let down IMHO. gapiro
Just came onto BC because I wanted something interesting to watch at lunchtime, This is awesome. Made my day!
John Cellario
I love this channel. The production values regarding sound and video are superb considering its web based. I love the shows at Todd Rundgrens amazing house in Kawaii, and Keb Mo's show.
xgsjx
I got shown these for the 1st time at the start of January. The would be singer sent a link for the Cromeo one (he would have made a good singer too, but he felt he would let us down). We was gonna do a cover of Can't Get With That. Thanks for reminding me of them
JTUK
Has been a decent show... If you want a different take of a popular tune... this isn't a bad place to start. Missing T-Bone, but Daryl Hall never quite got the recognistion he deserved..??? Best Live show I can recall.. Hall and Oates at the Town and Country. spongebob
That's pretty cool. Must admit, I'm no fan of Cee Lo at at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive soul fan - but his voice sounds to me like a caricature of what someone thinks a soul singer should be! PTB
Another fan here. I keep going back to the Sharon Jones & Eli Paperboy Reed episodes.
gjones
I've been a big fan since I saw KT Tunstall and Daryl jamming at his house in London on one of the first episodes. Remember the performances that are recorded are just jams with mistakes and bum notes left in. They're having fun not going for perfection. chardbass
I caught this thread this morning and immediately posted a link to my FB page- a great tune, played superbly. Lovely guitarist to boot. I have some YouTube listening to do. Thanks for a great post :-)

This isn't a track for him but that isn't so much the nature of the show.
ezbass
We do this arrangement as our encore in my 80s covers band, complete with the drum and bass intro (albeit a slightly more straightforward bass line). Such a groove, I love playing it. Edited March 4, 2013 by ezbass
warwickhunt
My lazy Suday listening/viewing has been 'Daryl's House' for some time. You can find some of the more obscure (for want of a better word) guests to be great; some of the clips with Patrick Stump (being an oldie I had to look up who he was and I was genuinely pleasantly surprised by his voice) are great... Oh and his faces are great! peteb
I can't find too much wrong with Cee Lo Green's singing, in fact the whole clip was f'**in ace! Anyone know who the bass player is??
