Judo Chop
Www.songsterr.com Not always the most accurate tabs, but you can play them back to hear what they should sound like

lojo
There is no best place, some are good and some are very misleading, most are incomplete. Suggest you google the individual song you are looking for and compare various links Edited March 5, 2013 by lojo

jezzaboy
Try 911 tabs. It sort of pulls all the other tab sites together. Full of bloomin adverts though. Not that I use tabs myself. I am a musical genius don`t ya know
charic
Has Bilbo mentioned the bin yet? No? ultimate-guitar is my usual haunt
jackers
I use ultimate guitar and songster when I can't work bits of a song out. I don't get why people get so hateful about tabs. As long as you understand they are unlikely to be perfect, then they make a great starting point.

[/quote] well said, they are a very useful resource to learn a song to jam with people, I do this and also when Im not learning songs Im learning relative pitch to hear intervals and train my ear, I just worked out the riff to running free by iron maiden , it may not be right though as just going by what I remember of the main gist of the song, if I was learning it to play with a band though i would get some guitar pro tabs off the net, then jam along to the audio once id learned it to see if it was ok. there are some good programs for relative pitch, learning rhythm and reading music on the iphone. so you can practise if youre stuck waiting somewhere
