I switched to Spiro Weich (after experimenting with various other strings) but recently had a hankering for an earthier sound after listening to a lot of Scott LaFaro .... so I bought a nearly-new set of Silver Slaps on BC for £45. Well hind-sight is rose tinted and I quickly discovered I definitely prefer the Spiros on my old 3/4 bass. So I am selling the Silver Slaps on, less £5 for the small amount of additional silk fraying caused by fitting and removing again. So £40 posted for a good, but not pristine, set of Silver Slaps anyone? Edited March 4, 2013 by Clarky
