I have a B500dr Ampeg top and a 4 x 10 Ampeg Cab and i cannot get any reasonable volume from it,any one else got the same problem,also what would be a good replacement

You should be getting serious volume out of that rig; get thee to a shop and get the power stage valves looked at.

Don't think the B500dr is a valve one. Something is wrong though. Could be the cab. What noise is it making that says you can't turn it up more?
