Bandzoogle for website?

Ok, so I have once again found myself doing the website for this band, the management are happy to pay out for the service, so I would rather do one of these easy build jobs than write the thing from scratch like I normally would.
My question is this, I've been trying the bandzoogle site for a day or two (free trial) and it seems like a fairly annoying interface.
Is wordpress better? has anyone used both to make the comparison?
Would we be making a serious mistake to go for the full version of bandzoogle? (it does have a really stupid name)

My current lot have set up a website on bandzoogle, apparently it was the best the bunch according to the guy that did it, and our collective opinion of the templates and examples.

I've set up a site myself on wordpress, and it was ok - nothing as complicated as a band website though

We've just moved over to bandzoogle in the last few days.

We're concentrating on the structure before the appearance but it's very easy to update and keep the content fresh which was a right pain to do before with all that html brain ache.
The ease with which you can flog stuff is great as well.

Our originals band site uses Bandzoogle - it's really easy to set up.

i use wordpres, i have a blog on it, and a band "website"

i get the feeling that its very much based at being a fancy blog than a website, might give bandzoogle a look for the band stuff

I also use bandzoogle. They are apparently rolling out a totally re-designed interface which looks pretty decent. Although they have been saying its 'days away' for about 5 months!
