Hi All,
I thought I would share my second youtube video, a cover of the GNR song "14 Years". The vidoe quality is a bit poor - sorry about that. I had to use my backup plan after technology let me down :-(

Anyway, here it is, constructive criticism welcome :-)

It's alright pal. Good duff sound. In terms of constructive criticism just watch your timing, you are rushing occasionaly. Just hold back a bit and try to get a more definite shuffle feel. It's a tune tho. It's the first G'n'R tune i learnt and played in a band.

Thanks Lord!
When I watch it back now it's not as good as I thought it was at the time and you're 100% right about the timing.

Cheers,
Doug

[/quote]yeah but ya lovin it tho whilst ya play in which is the most important thing. Checked your gear. A big duff fan then? He's the reason I started playing.

Yep, I'm a big Duff fan - he's the reason I first picked up the bass too. Until last November I was in a GNR tribute. Here we are playing the song in question (that's me in the blonde wig!)

I've got some dep gigs for them coming up and while I relearn some of the tracks I thought I'd try and record as many of them as possible.

Cheers,
Doug
