Fender USA string ferrules

Does anyone know the external diameter of the String Ferrules on a US P? I've aquired a set of ferrules and a through-body bridge and am looking to convert my bitser to through-body stringing and don't have anything to accurately measure the diameter.

According to Guitar Parts Resource, ferrules for Fender American basses (part no 004-8604-049) are 1/2" external diameter (12.7mm).
