Ampeg SVT 450h, superb!

I recently acquired a second hand above amp and can honestly say it does NOT deserve all the slagging off it gets on other bass forums.
I run it through an svt 410hlf cab and it sounds absolutely monstrous.
Ok, it's a solid state MOSFET amp, but it has to be stored in the garage, it's in and out of the van twice a week, so I can't really rely on valves,
Reading the forums , I sh*t myself really, but I don't know what the problem is. I've had countless amps over the years and this is up there with the best of them, it's got power, tone (low and high) and looks the part as well.
I put my Ricky through it at a gig at weekend and it cut through two Marshall amps and a massive drummer, I couldn't be more pleased,
Anybody else got something that has bad reviews and can't live without?

Lloyd.

Ah, the SVT450H. I'm really glad you like it... I was looking at the Behringer clone, but reviews point to a power stage that likes to go tits-up, which is a shame because they're dirt cheap! :)

Going on 'bass forum' reviews the following gear I own could be considered rubbish

'its too heavy damn it': Trace Elliot gear
'boring and generic looking and sounding ' Fender Precision
'Expensive Fender clone' Sadowsky Metro
'Poor design, no truss rod': Vigier bass
'There is no mid knob, thus it automatically sucks': Sansamp Bass DI
