SkinnyMike Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 (edited) iv been meaning to put this up for a while now and finally, here it is; My lovely 1975 fender jazz. Enjoy: This is no doubt the best bass i have ever owned and its sad as it is probably the nicest jazz i will ever own. Its got some wizard 84's, cort tuning heads and its just had some new frets and strings put on it. It plays like a dream, especailly with thoes pups. They are hands down the best pups you can get for a jazz bass. Believe me on that one! Cheers Mike Edited May 25, 2008 by the_house123 Quote
matt_citizenbass Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 ^ +1 to that. i wish i could own something that beautiful! Quote

mr_russ Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 That's nice- I like the colour combination. I'm assuming the body is a replacement of some description? Quote
beerdragon Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Not a big fan of blue, but that looks really nice. Quote
SkinnyMike Posted May 26, 2008 Author Posted May 26, 2008 Cheers for the reply guys and correct Mr russ, it is for now. Im deciding getting a swamp ash body off warmouth for this to completly finish it off. Quote
TimmyC Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Sweet bass man. Is it all original 'cause it looks like the pickups are in the 60's position not 70's? Quote

However thats about to get swapped out for a swamp ash Warmouth body in transparent blue mmmmmm Dont let the idea of the 92' body fool you though, this bass is an absolute monster! Quote
Nino Valenti Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Nice bass. It's gonna look killer with the T-Blue Body. Quote
Kiwi Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Nice bass but what bits of it are actually from 1975? Quote
SkinnyMike Posted June 6, 2008 Author Posted June 6, 2008 (edited) only the neck. At the moment its a sort of 75'-92' Hybrid with new hardware. I need to source some more "original" hardware aswell at some point but for now, its good enough for a lazy student like me Edited June 6, 2008 by the_house123 Quote
