tommyjamesallen
I'm thinking of fitting some bridge adjusters, does anyone have any opinions as to how this could affect the tone of my bass? Or whether its worth it or not? Cheers.

tommyjamesallen
Thanks for that. This test was done on one bass, I'm trying to get a general idea of what different people's experiences are. As we all know.... No two basses respond in the same way. A nice bit of info though. Thanks.
Mr Bassman
I've got adjusters on 4 basses, just wish I had them on my other.
geoffbassist
I've got adjusters on 4 basses, just wish I had them on my other.
This is also my experience. I have had them fitted on at least 4 basses, none of which suffered. I think properly fitted adjusters are well worth having. Mr Bassman
you could go one better and fit a full circle pup
fatgoogle
I had quite an expensive teller adjustable bridge put on my bass with brass wheels. Its a really good bridge and hasn't effected the tone in a hugely significant away but its sort of useless. I haven't used it at all. I have yet to adjust the string height at all. Even between my classical gigs and other gigs. Stays the same height! So make sure you actually need one before you go and have one put on your bass.
