warwickhunt Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013
They have a vintage EB2 and a 1963 Strat as well..so is it a hacked account?
Yeh, the style of the listing content is generally the same on these hacked accounts, the give away is "so we will only use bank wire" for payment! That and the fact the item is at an unbelievably cheap price. Quote
gjones Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 No local pickup. Probably because they're in Malaysia. Quote
Musky Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Yeah, there's been a lot of this recently. They always include an email address and tell you to contact them off Ebay. Quote
ash Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Also selling dodgy Minimoogs http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Moog-Minimoog-D-Vintage-Synthesizer-EXCELLENT-/380598619099?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Pro_Audio_Synthesisers_CV&hash=item589d720bdb Buyer beware - there are two on with BIN prices of £1500. Each time they've advertised they've been pulled within a couple of days. Minis generally go for twice as much. Last time they were advertising a Mini I emailed them and asked why so cheap? Guess what? No reply and the advert was pulled. Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Looks real enough! what happens if I put a million pound bid on it? Quote
BetaFunk Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 ..and yet another Minimoog! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Moog-Minimoog-Model-D-/380598619100?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Pro_Audio_Synthesisers_CV&hash=item589d720bdc Quote
ash Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 (edited) If you look at the other items they are either £1500 instruments/electrical goods or ceramics - they also appear to be based in France despite the StoreUKLTD user name. Edited March 13, 2013 by ash Quote
Yep always the same BIN price of £1500. They've also got that 1966 Fender JB that's just a little bit too immaculate...
