PM flood control

Hey all

Due to a sudden influx of scammers who send out dozens of scamming PM's I've put a flood control on the number of PM's that can be sent in a 24 hour period to try and slow down their activities.
Limit is now max 10 PM topics per 24 hrs, and no more than 1 new PM topic per 5 mins.
You can still chat within a PM as much as you like
This will affect all members as there's no other way to do it.

I'll take the brakes off after a couple of days if it becomes a real problem to PM addicts!

I had a few of those fake PM's. Very annoying. I think 10 PM's in a day loads. Who starts more than 10 new topics in a day?

Any idea why I am not getting email notification of any PM's or replies to topics that I am subscribed to? I have not altered any settings on my account.

Could be one of two things.

1) Your notifications are being re-routed to your junk mail folder. Have a look in there.

2) A problem with some accounts was spotted recently where the notifications just aren't being generated. You might be one of these.

I'm drowning in notifications - millions of the buggers. I keep pestering them to fix it...

Check point 1. If they definitely aren't in your junk mail, it's a fair bet you're point 2.
