Squier MIJ scratchplates?

So I got a Squier MIJ Jazz Bass, yay me. Plays and sounds like a dream, the only downside is it came without its scratchplate. Its a E serial number so would a standard USA scratchplate fit?

I had to replace a plate on my Japanese-made Geddy Lee and discovered when I looked for one that there is often a small difference in plates you might assume would be standard sizes. Many of them are not; and of course the fit has to be exact.

Was kind of expecting that. I really don't like it when things don't line up properly, wont be able to sleep if it does not fit properly.
