Epi Thunderbird Neck Profiles (SlimTaper vs 60's rounded)

I'm after a Thunderbird Classic IV-Pro (wanted section plug!), but have only played the regular Pro before.

On the Epiphone website, it says the Pro has a 'SlimTaper' neck profile, while the classic has the '1960's rounded bass profile'.

What is the difference? Is the 60's one thicker?
