toneknob Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Give Rusty Cage a go, loads of fun to play. Quote
bagsieblue Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Agreed, agreed, agreed. Great band, proper bassist. Tons and tons of great songs. Burden In My Hand is one of my favourite songs of all time. Quote
GarethFlatlands Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Saw them on the Down on the Upside tour and spent the whole gig on his side of the stage watching him play. Great bassist. Quote
ZenBasses Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 Hurrah I am glad there is a bit of appreciation on BC though I was surprised to see him playing a hofner style bass(it might well be a hofner but I am not that good at bass identification) An underrated player... Proving that you don't have to twiddly.. Reminds me also of Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam Just bloody good at what they do And yes Rusty Cage is super also Quote
bartelby Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I'm a big fan of Soundgarden and Ben Shepherd. But I totally hate how he sounds live. It always justs sounds like a dull indistinct thump. Quote
