Point-to-point Monster el Monarca 300W amp (custom made in Finland) with Matamp 4x10" + 1x18" cabs. Awesome set of gear. Really really versatile amp.

Sound City B100W mk3 (1969) with Aurinnko))) 2x15" cab. Awesome set as well.

Home practice rig: Echolette B200 + some 70's Kustom 1x15" cab. Nice retro-set.

3 knobs, perfect.

The amp I use is called a 'Streamliner' as its supposed to be a stripped down type with a strength in simplicity, but has 3 knobs for volume alone.

It's been a while since I've contributed so...

Trace V8

Museum piece Burman Pro4000HD (I have two, the other is more road rashed)

Burman Pro501 (ex Lindisfarne)

And some previous kit:

Mesa Strategy 400 (unfortunately no decent pics of the Bass 400+ I had for a while)

A cheap (but OK) Mesia, no not a Mesa, a Mesia ;)

OK it's ugly and heavy but sounds superb. My Wallace AC5075XT:-

Built around 1969. 2 x KT88s.

In the early 70s when I was young and fit I used to gig a stereo wired bass into two AC100XTs (a lot bigger and heavier!) plus two Burman 4x12s.

Here are mine.
I`ve developed a little bit of a fetish for valve amps over the last few years.
We eat alot of smart price beans at my house.

You can see the burgundy snakeskin better on this picture.

Ooh, how I'd like one of these, (the Ampeg B15, don't know why the pic didn't come out.)

(the 120 Mark 4 I had awhile ago was a noise monster).
[/quote]

The noise in them can be sorted, its a combination of old caps, degrading resistors and dirty earth connections. Sorted about a dozen now.
