Went for £267 which is expensive for Squier in that condition...

Gobsmacked it went for that much. It doesn't seem to have the truss rod adjustment at the headstock like most Squiers I've seen though, but maybe the older ones had it down by the body (I know the JV's did).

Very dodgy indeed! I do get the feeling that the seller was being honest in his listing though. Anybody wanting to rip people off would do a better job than that on the decal

The headstock looked similar to my old Encore, so the seller must be chuffed to say the least!

If this kind of practice is acceptable I might just go into business, I've a bright pink westfield I paid £30 for and put a blag Fender 70's decal on(strictly for a music video appearance you understand) and which is coming soon to eBay at the bargain price of £600-ish...
