hi,
I'm playing in a primus cover band. I try to get claypool's 6 string fretted sound.
he uses ultra thin strings. does anybody knows a company which made such strings?

When you say "ultra thin" what gauge exactly?? [i][b]Status Hotwires[/b][/i] generally start at 0.30 on the G string - talk to Rob for more info/advice.

You could try combining Piccato singles, I think they make a piccolo bass set. Alterantively go custom and talk to this guy:

I'd try TI Jazz Rounds - very light and compliant. Beautifully made and feel wonderful bit not cheap. Available from the US for around $100
