kedo Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Following the advice of Basschat members, I acquired a GK MB150E recently for my double bass. Just after I acquired a cover for it, it began to distort badly and had to be returned. As these amps are like hen's teeth, I settled for a Markbass 121P (fantastic by the way) and now have a surplus padded vinyl cover made by 'Hotcovers'. Having owned a GK for a couple of days, I would say that this amp really needs to be protected during transport. It is robust, but the enamel could chip and the controls are delicate. Kedo
