He didn't look so good with Madness the other night outside the Beeb, maybe that nasty cold & rain has knocked him back a bit, poxy weather.

Big respect for him & very best wishes.

We were only talking about him at the Cardiff bass bash yesterday.

Good on him for going out with a bang though.

Hope he's coping with his illness.

I've all the time in the world for any muso who's stamped their mark in the business & Wilco did that big-time.
Reading about him closing with Bye Bye Johnny brought a lump to my thought.

If there is an afterlife, I hope it's fairer than this one.

Amen to that.

Loads of respect for Wilko, best wishes mate.

I saw him in Sheffield earlier this year and he played a blinder. What could have been going through the guys head at the time, no-one knows.

An original. And massively influential.

I hope you've enjoyed the ride, Wilko.

I wondered if something like this might happen when I first heard the news of his farewell tour. Very sad, but there can be no doubt he has gone out fighting and playing. Total respect!

Nothing much to add really... I brought a tear to my eye seeing him get up and play at that Madness concert on Friday night, particularly when I had to explain to the Mrs why I was getting a bit 'emotional'. He looked so happy and carefree.
