paulmcnamara
Does anyone know if they are still trading in Thurrock as their website seems gone?
Mudpup
Nope theyve gone. Electromusic still have about 6 basses and a bunch of straps in there - inc a nice Sandberg - which may be a "make us an offer" sort of thing.
Musicman20
Shame....I'm shocked they didn't do much with the new store. Times are indeed hard.
Grangur
I went there a while back and peered at the basses through the dark and the smoke-machine filled air. The room was hummed with the sound of clubbing vibes and some guy mouthed to me, "I can plug one in and you can try it if you like". "Errr... yeah, sure", I thought, "you cut the club sound and it all changes to little me trying a bass with a few chords". I replied, "Err.. no it's ok thanks". I left and went to the Bass Gallery and bought a "real" German Warwick. Maybe my experiance is an example of the reason?
paulmcnamara
Thanks Guys, Sorry to hear that they couldn't make it. Sign of the difficult times and possibly their own lack of business acumen and customer service, all in abundance at The BG, which if you are based in relative easy reach of London takes a lot of beating. Cheers, Paul.
