Lettering on pickguard?

i've seen a few basses come with this from the factory (ampeg and ibanez come to mind) like on the following picture



does anyone know of an aftermarket way of doing this myself? or know of anyone who could do it for me? i've seen the letraset lettering transfers, but would they last? i can imagine them rubbing off or coming off with my sweat.

i've seen some of the old ampeg scroll basses that seem to have the name pressed into the pickguard.

i want to add the finishing touches to my two main basses and i reckon this could be the way to go.

You could look into laser engraving, maybe?

Pickguardian do "signature edition" scratch plates. I'm sure he'd be able to do something like this for you
