hamfist Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) Sorry, now traded. Just recently bought from Andy Travis on this fine forum. A Farida custom fretless Jazz bass. The neck was made especially as a custom job by Farida when researching the production of a fretless model. The bass started off as a Farida FJB-6 and was fitted with this neck, which is one of only 2 Farida fretless necks made. Spec ...... Maple neck, vintage tinted. Ebony fingerboard (partially lined) Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Jazz pickups weight - approx 9lbs body - white gloss with light vintage green scratchplate. Loaded with D'Addario chrome flats, and will come with a good spare 2nd set of the same. This bass plays beautifully and sounds very classy. The neck is a dream. I actually really like the partially lined design, and I find it's actually easier to get your eye in on it than either of the traditional fully lined or non-lined (with side dots) designs. Couple of very minor scratches on the rear of the body. Overall, the bass is in really excellent condition. Bought as a comparison with my Yammy BB414 fretless, but I have found that I simply love the voice of the P pickup in the Yam more, and it is all I need. In fact I find myslef becoming obsessed with P's at the moment. For sale at £235 posted to you within mainland UK, or a trade value of roughly £240. Interested in fretted P basses only, but no nut widths over 42mm.
