Dating Framus Star Bass

Hi Everyone

Wonder if anyone can help me to date my Framus Star Bass?

I haven't come across one with same striped finish as mine...

Serial Number (stamped on rear of headstock) appears to be 716 457 - 63C - does this make it March 1963?

Your help greatly appreciated!

Absolutely no help in dating it, but it does look a great thing. If the actual year is giving you great concern I would be prepared to accept the bass from you for a suitable fee my way [size=4] [/size]

Yes. According to the Framus Vintage Archive it was made in March 1963.
