yepmop Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 Hi All I want to get myself a new combo to replace my 15" 100 watt Ashdown, I'm flogging the Ashdown and my MIM Jazz to fund the new purchase plus a little dosh. So I'm looking for something Around £400 (2nd hand or new) that; Gives that old school sound. Wife friendly (doesn't take up too much room). Doesn't weight too much and can fit into the boot of a Ford Focus. My initial thoughts are for a Fender Rumble 350 but will ask the experts here for other options that I've not thought of. Lozz196 Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) The Fender Rumble, whilst not overly light (approx 30kg), will fit all the other criteria. Great old-school sounds, warm and rich, and powerful as well. I`ve used the 150 version and it had just enough power for a full band. I had the pre-Rumble Bassman version of this amp, and if my back hadn`t been so bad, I`d have kept it, no worries.
