Well I sorted out a test bed:


'scuse the mess & all that







and did some recordings... and I have to say I'm a bit underwhelmed.

I had a play around with the active EQ, and it could make it sound a /little/ different, but not as much as I'd hoped.

See if you can work out which is which....

If you are going to keep the bass, it really doesn't matter what you do to it, as long as you are happy.
If you plan to sell it at some stage, then either leave it as it is, or, get famous.
