Lord Sausage Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I'd have to say Led Zep. Think of all the women and drugs. I'd get John Paul Jones to dep for me overnight. ;-) Quote

Lowender Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Interesting how most people pick bands with good bass players . Me? If I could play the way I wanted...it's be U2. I'd completely re-invent the band. And my career would be in high gear. Meanwhile, replacing Steve Harris, though it'd be fun to play all his parts, would just make me the most hated guy in metal. shizznit Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I can think of loads of artists/bands that I would like to play for, but there's a funk band in France called Electro Deluxe that I think I would fit really well into. http://www.electrodeluxe.com I'm trying to start up a band with a similar layout as these guys, but struggling to find a decent horn section. bluesparky Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I'd love to play in the chili peppers or zeppelin but I'd probably be so intimidated by playing with my idols I'd fluff even the simplest basslines. After them it's got to be Reef, that's a bass gig I'd love to get - having seen them live 19 times I'd like to think I could fit in with their live show. Quote

Japhet Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 If time travel was an option - Hendrix, The Police and (maybe oddly) Duke Ellington. If time travel isn't available, how about - Little Feat, Incognito or John Mayer? Quote
