this amp needs to be gigged , it is wasted on me in a home studio. i cant put it past 2!!!! these amps sound amazing it is like old school meets modern technology. best of both worlds. £600 and it is yours , you wont look back. trust me i have tried a lot of amps in my life!!!

How does this compare to the Tone Hammer 500?

I have played through the tone hammer 500, it was one i looked at when buying . The build of the AG500 DC is far superior, i preferred the sound of the AG 500 too!!! much thicker and warmer sounding much more tone control and its not to heavy 18 pounds, i just did not fancy forking out that amount of money for the tone hammer there was nothing to it in my eyes. the Ag500 had much more headroom. just my view hope this helps.
