Beedster Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) What's my best bet? It's a very small room, so relatively low power is required (everything I look at online seems to be up in the several hundred watts range, but given that my 20w hifi amp pretty much fills the room sound-wise, I doubt I need much more than 50 at most)? Thanks Chris Edited April 8, 2013 by Beedster Quote
Beedster Posted April 8, 2013 Author Posted April 8, 2013 Fair point, kinda at the opposite end of the financial spectrum to your rather lovely setup I guess mate, £200-300 max? Chris Quote
bremen Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Quad 405? Doesn't have a fan, plenty headroom for a small room. Quote
charic Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 What monitors will it be running? I only ask because if you can get something specifically designed to run with them then that would be the "safest" bet Quote

lurksalot Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 the word is that active monitors are the way to go , for your budget there should be some quality to be had , there is a very recent thread on this. I am on the monitor hunt , or will be soon Quote
