Looking good for a 34 year old bass, I'm sure you'll agree! You often see these for sale altered/upgraded, but this is all original and is a very clean example. I'm only letting this beauty go because I have just bought a BB2000, a bass I've been after for quite a while and need to replenish the much depleted coffers as a result! This is a classic Yamaha thru neck model from their golden age of bass making; played by the likes of Peter Hook, Paul McCartney and even the bloke from Chas and Dave! Often described as the "P bass on steroids," it's a tone monster that oozes quality; wonderfully built, with five piece laminated thru neck, solid as a rock. I've had it for almost four years; it's been well gigged up and down the land but has been well looked after. Cosmetically, it's in great shape, but for a few small lacquer dings here and there and a small surface crack in the lacquer around the jack socket - I've tried to highlight all of these in the pics. Comes with a Ritter hard case, as seen in the pics. Also includes a set of Schaller strap locks, which I forgot to mention earlier. Based in Liverpool. Postage within UK no problem, will even deliver personally within reason.
