The Bass Palace - is this Status legit?

I just saw this on the Bass Palace website:

Is this in any way legit? My guess is that it's a custom build/homemade with Status parts. I don't remember seeing anything like this coming from our man in Essex.

It's no Status bass. Looks like it might be a Washburn Series 1000 that's had the horns restyled but certainly not a Status.

I'm not very well up on these things, but as soon as i saw it, i kind of felt like it had fake written all over it. It certainly doesn't match the quality of any status I have ever seen (talking in terms or materials used).

Just my thoughts.

I already spoke to him about it last week and mentioned I thought the bass was a beater. He said he'd change the listing or remove it.
