Hi,
I'm selling my AC RA4 custom. It was originally made for Mitch Starkman and I bought it about 7 months ago from Bassgear. It has some ding and dots but it's hard to see anything on the bass unless you look very closely. Overall it is in very good condition. RA standard basses are finished in poly lacquer but this bass is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer which is more expensive than poly. ProTec gig bag is included. Bass locates in Estonia.[list]

I think it is car, it has the red of dakota but It's metallic aswell... So It's car, and knowing Coppolo he prolly uses fender colors on Many if his basses
Although he does do quite radical stuff too, which I don't care about, must be california that goes hippy on him, f@ck hate that:)

Oh but Like this one tho GLWTS

There is one jam where I played with RA. There is no EQ added on bass track. Just two channels mixed together: DI and mic. I used MarkBass Little Mark Tube 500 (DI channel) and Schroeder 1012 cab (mic cannel). The bridge pickup is full up and neck pickup rolled down by 1/4. Tone rolled almost full down. It's Candy Apple Red - it is Jimmy's take on this colour so maybe not quite the same as a Fender.

In fact I've seen a few modern CAR Fenders and they are a much deeper red than this one. Jimmy's looks more like it's been around for a while and has some fading (this is how it was from new but, with a nitro finish, it will fade a little more over time).

It's a great bass. One of the very best AC's I've ever played - and I've played a few!

Personally I like the RA series as I'm quite a fan of early 70's Fenders with alder bodies but the 70's pickup spacing :)
