Stingray 5 weight - how light ?

Hi, any ideas how much a lightweight stingray 5 should weigh compared to the norm ?

Generally speaking , any Stingray 5 under ten pounds in weight is on the lighter side of average . If you can find one around the nine and a half pound mark , that is very good find .

Second heaviest instrument I owned, expect a lot of them to be solid. I've played heavier examples on the wrong side of 10lbs (for those with back issues at least, not me personally).

My 2010 is 10lb, My 2007 might be responsible for the bad weather recently due to its weight pulling on the worlds oceans, I love it!
