Graham
Has anyone used a Kinsman pedalboard? I found this on Ebay which looks like it might be good, but I don't know anything about the brand and don't know what the quality will be like - I want something better than a Stagg / Behringer type board. http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=360634195758&index=23&nav=SEARCH&nid=02842459823 Cheers
joe.staffs
Hey. I have that exact one and well, you get what you pay for. It isn't very rigid or strong and the locks are fiddly but it gets the job done.
dudewheresmybass
Iirc it's the same board as the stagg, but with a different badge. As said above, you get what you pay for
Truckstop
I've got a couple of Stagg ones and they're fine for home use and occasional gigging. I certainly wouldn't take them on tour or trust them to hold much weight or anything expensive! For that you need to get a Warwick Rockcase or a Spider case. skidder652003
i find them ok if you wait for the crappy liner to fall apart (it will! ) and then re-line the top and bottom with some carpet tiles and carpet glue-spray. Make sure you get carpet tiles (about £3) that like sticking to velcro!
bartelby
I have one, as mentioned above the lining is utter rubbish. Pulled out one pedal a while back and everything else came with it. Not used it since. Will have to get a carpet tile...
Graham
Cheers guys, will avoid and probably go for a Diago Gigman if I get a bonus this quarter to supplement my funds
joe.staffs
Yeah the lining came off on mine too, I secured it back on with Uhu glue. You could make a pedal board, I bet there are plenty of guides and you can make it to your own spec and style at half the price.
