Amplified, they even out nicely and and work well if you're after an old-school thump. Super easy to slap with and (imo) a much better defined tone than whackers, and they hold their tuning. I had them on for about a month and were great for learning slap, but now i need more volume acoustically. alistair Sutcliffe Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 Hiya Charla. They're long enough, but they may be too thick to fit. It's hard to tell from the pictures i've seen online. You might have to file bridge and nut to make them fit.
