bassfan
Afternoon All, I'm rubbish at transcribing songs... and I need to try and learn Midnight at the Oasis ... Do any of you guys play it and have it transcribed anywhere... I'd be incredibly grateful!! As a side note I thought there was a book of BNH songs published by bassline publishing but can't seem to find it anywhere online?? Anyone have a copy? Cheers... Dingus
I don't know about any transcriptions , but if you put " Midnight At The Oasis + bass cover " into You Tube there are a few pretty competent bass playalong videos for that song . Maybe watching and hearing someone else play it will help .
bassfan
Cheers Dingus... I'll take a little look... Still open to any news on the book?
ambient
I think I have a transcription somewhere, it's standard notation though, but let me know if it's any good and I can email it to you or something.
Bass Lady
I tried to buy the BNH book quite recently from the publishers but it is out of print and no plans to publish it again. I have 2 different transcriptions of it in notation. If you want me to email you PDFs just pm me your email address.

HoorayForAnonyms
This is a pretty acurate transcription of the slap version found on the alternate demo of the song. Not the same as the single version but it'll certainly give you something to play. http://cocosbassment.com/bass-archive/covers/?did=11 Hope it helps. HoorayForAnonyms
And this is what the alternate version sounds like in case you were wondering. Definitely a lot funkier. http://youtu.be/SECv7NARXPw
