hi guys.

i have just plugged into my oc-2 today. never had a problem with it in the past, now I'm getting a strange distortion happening with the pedal and I'm not sure why. i have been using it with my Moog low pass filter.

only thing i can think of if it isn't the pedal, is that i have actually damaged the practise amp I'm using, but it doesn't seem to have the sound when bypassed or using the low pass filter.

the speakers not ripped or anything as far as i can see.

Have you tried the OC2 on it's own (as in it being the only thing between the bass & amp)?
My other thought is the "drive" on the moog could be too high (it works even in bypass).

yeah still the same problem. not run on battery either on a reliable t rex power supply

How old is your OC-2? The ACA versions can sometimes give you problems when on a 9V regulated PSU, try the pedal on battery power and let us know :)

Sounds more like it's your amp clipping? Try turning down your bass a little and give it another go. Your OC-2 will be putting out quite a hot signal to deal with - I know I've mashed up my old practice amp by overloading the input stage.

I would try the amp without any effects first, you need to try and isolate the problem.

I know moogs start clipping and giving off distortion when I start digging in, but the handy led should let you know what's going on.
