AMENDMENT ADDED 19 APRIL : Important PLEASE read..For a few months I have only played this bass unamplified, it is the one I mess about with in the front room when the rest of the family are watching TV! I figured just reassure myself that the bass is OK I better give it a blast through the Trace. When I did so today I noticed that the instrument was rather quiet. So I shifted the trim control on the back with a screwdriver (the gain control, you can see it on the image below) and the volume was restored to how I remember it.
I turned the trim pot back again with the screwdriver and it went quiet again. So naturally I returned the pot to where it was before and it is again nice and loud. I do not recall this happening before, in fact I recall that the trim pots didn't actually do much, so whether the trim pots are dusty or on their way out, I don't know. It plays fine now and I hope it continues to do so but I would not feel happy trading this unless I made you aware of this prior to the deal.

AMENDMENT NUMBER 2: Right, Paranoia kicking in now.. Due to the fact that I want a hassle free transaction I am selling the bass as FAULTY. I am probably overestimating the problem but I am anxious not to be labelled as a dodgy seller.

I will post if required or I could drive half way, or more if Local-ish. (Doncaster, Lincoln, Scunny, Hull, Nottingham, Leeds, Sheffield for example) Maybe further for the right trade.

Luthite body, so no dings or scratches. (A couple of small light scratches on the back near the buckle area)
It is fitted with Roto 77 monel Flatwounds, but it sounds much better with rounds IMO.
No case.

This is not new, I bought it as "used" from E-Bay last year.

To be honest, I can't get on with it. the body just will not sit on my lap but its nice and light on the strap, But loads of people love them. Check out YouTube.

It has a tiny hair line crack where one of the tuning peg screw sits in the back of the headstock. It has been there since I acquired it, and it looks worse on the photo than it actually is. There is also a scuff mark on the neck which would probably smooth off with some wire wool. I have tried to photo them both.

Overall it is in a nice clean condition.
