joe.staffs
When I bought my jazz bass, it came with a pickguard signed by Peter Hook. I was wondering if anyone else has a signed guitar or pickguards and do they have much value to them or is it mostly sentimental?
Lee Carter
My PJ is signed on the back By Jack Bruce, wouldn't imagine it adds any value at all just nice to have.

Matt P
i was once offered a mex precision with Stings signature on the scratchplate, trouble was that no-one had peeled the protective plastic off before it was signed and the signature was wearing off quite badly! i offered him about 250 quid for the bass (without the scratchplate) as it played like a dog and needed some serious setting up and some new strings, the owner declined my offer and put it on gumtree for £1000 and as far as i know he still has it (about 4 years later!)
