Serial Numbers....HELP!

Hi, I am deparately trying to find what year my Fender Precision is from! Does anyone know if there is a site where I can cross reference the serial number to the year?

If it's an old bass there might be a date stamped on the heel of the neck, if you don't mind taking it off.

Plus we like looking at pictures so you could post some, then you'll have half a dozen different opinions to choose from
