Wow, that's sad. I just got my niece interested in his designs, I actually bought her a brilliant book about him for easter.

I spent a fair proportion of my youth staring at his work with the Floyd

I've just been leafing through my Storm/Hipgnosis book, "Walk Away Rene". What an incredible body of work, full of originality, inspiration and wit. His influence on my appreciation of the music is as significant as the musicians he created for.

I love that book. I grew up with it in art school, I still have a copy, it's a great read.
