phil421 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) Trade +/- cash are welcome Hi Guys, I am interested to trade or sale a recently acquired 4003s Rickenbacker. This is a sweet bass in a very good shape. Fireglo finish, 2 piece neck showing some flames, thin and fast neck. Frets are in good shape, and neck is really straight. Currently strung with thomastik JF344Flats with a low action. I have a treble pickup bakelite fill installed at the moment but original cover is provided. Bass weights 4.15kg and is complete with its OSHC in good shape. Currently located in France, EU shipping won't be an issue. Pict available upon simple request (including original shot from Mark at bass direct from whom I got the bass). cocco Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 So what's the difference between this and a normal 4003? Dot inlays, no binding and no stereo?

Got few Regular 4003 in my hands, and I always found them uncomfortable to play (binding of the neck, body shape, ...). The rest is a question of taste.

Irishrickenbacker Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Really cool. I think I would like that. How much is shipping to Ireland.
Irishrickenbacker Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 It looks like an honest bass. A bass that has been played and I like that. It seems to be calling me to sell my 70 jet glow one as I was offered the exact same amount and I like the change in colour.....
