I've used this amp for about two years now with a pair of Aguilar DB112s and this setup has been impressive... lots of punch and volume. I've never encountered a moment where I was wishing for more power and I've never pushed this amp hard. Obviously with its use it has a few aesthetic nicks and the like which I've tried to capture in the photographs below (a few nicks in the vinyl and the rubber at the edge of the plastic handle has started to split due to the design but it's not peeling away and still works just as it should). There are no noisy pots or any other issues with performance :)

I've replaced the stock Shuguang 12AX7Bs with a NOS Telefunken ECC83 and an Electro Harmonix ECC82. While changing the tubes around doesn't produce a night and day difference, I feel that this amp sounds best with this combination. However, I will also include a handful of preamp valves for you to try out:

The stock tubes are the two on the left and there's a JJ ECC83s in the EHX 12AU7/ECC82 box.

Thanks for looking!
Bob.
