Having gigged with my Precision for about a year now, I took my US 75 reissue jazz to a gig on Sunday just for a change really.

I loved the sound and feel of the jazz and two people commented on how good it sounded.

I think you'll love it.

Frank.

I love jazz basses but my "go to" bass for a long time has been a squier Chinese/jap precision bitza. It fits me like an old glove. Excellent balance and a fast neck. I occasionally play a jazz bass for sound diversity and visually I prefer jazzes but I'm hooked on that p at the mo. good luck with the new guitar though mate.

If you've got a good Precision and a good Jazz Bass there isn't much you can't cover in terms of styles and genres of music . All I really need .

Gone the total opposite way, I was a Jazz bass player for years and have moved over to a P. That said, I'll pick up a Jazz again soon if I can, that '75 reissue looks immense so if I could get hold of one then that's what I'd go for. Great choice then!

Don't like the pickup spacing at all on 75s .

Infact I've hated the pickups on every Jazz I've tried.
