Hi all,

Just a quick hello to you all I am a bit of a Bass noob and have been reading some stuff on this forum that has helped :)

I Have an Epiphone Thunderbird That I am really enjoying learning on Im teaching myself at the moment from the internet and books etc
but will be looking to get proper lessons when I am a bit better and can afford it.
Looking forward to being a member of this forum and chatting with you guys :)

Welcome Thunderbird.
There's no end to what you can learn from this forum.
Lots of us will advise you that playing along with other people will accelerate your learning and skills massively.
Plus, it's great fun.

... as above.. but as well as other people.. try playing along to some kind of drum machine or Looper? .. An on-line tutor I can recommend is MarloweDK [url="http://playbassnow.com/"]http://playbassnow.com/[/url] .. it's a great resource.. I've been playing Bass for 20-years.. and still learning! .. have fun

Welcome to a fellow Northamptonian....once the biggest town in Europe not to be a city...now just....yawn I guess!

Hello and welcome :D

If you can find a good teacher locally it will really help you! I wouldn't worry about wanting to be better, that's their job to get you started and starting lessons early will help you avoid getting into bad habits ;)
