Not me, although I've always fancied one.

Unfortunately they're victims of Jon Hall's policy of hounding off Ebay anything that looks vaguely like a Rickenbacker, despite the fact that they never made a bass that looks like that.

You're right. I saw one of these pulled from ebay and thought at the time it was odd as Rickenbacker didn't ever make a bass that shape!

I really like mine and i understand that they were made in Italy.

[Rick's Fine '52]

I had one, sold it on here a couple of years ago, ultra light, and very narrow EB type neck. Not exactly a 4005 in my experience though...far from it in fact. Mine was a Rose Morris import, from Italy, still had the stickers on the back of the headstock.

Agree with all the above Rick. It didn't expect a lot for what i payed for it (under £200) but it was a gem at the price.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Nearly did in the 70's.
