Musky Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Not me, although I've always fancied one. Unfortunately they're victims of Jon Hall's policy of hounding off Ebay anything that looks vaguely like a Rickenbacker, despite the fact that they never made a bass that looks like that. Quote

[/quote] You're right. I saw one of these pulled from ebay and thought at the time it was odd as Rickenbacker didn't ever make a bass that shape! I really like mine and i understand that they were made in Italy. P.S. Here's Bill Wyman playing one. http://shaftesburyguitars.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/shaftesbury-bill-wyman-bass.jpeg Edited April 27, 2013 by BetaFunk Quote
Rick's Fine '52 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 I had one, sold it on here a couple of years ago, ultra light, and very narrow EB type neck. Not exactly a 4005 in my experience though...far from it in fact. Mine was a Rose Morris import, from Italy, still had the stickers on the back of the headstock. Quote

12stringbassist Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Nearly did in the 70's. Quote
