JustaBass Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I have just bought a Nordy VJ5 that i think has round wounds on it with light blue wrapped ends does anyone know what make they are? There are some pictures on the bass gallery website and the strings are shown on the last photo if anyone can advise. yepmop Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I had some Fender ones MANY years ago that were light blue but Fender flatwounds I currently have are green though. Quote
ikay Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Dean Markley's are light blue apparently - more on silk colours here if you can be bothered to trawl through it - http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f16/silk-colors-717720/ Quote
dave_bass5 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Are they quite a dull looking colour? They could be D'addario Chromes, they have blue windings. Quote

EssentialTension Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013
... i think has round wounds on it with light blue wrapped ends does anyone know what make they are?
