paul_5
Well, if you turn it through 90 degrees...

MB1
MB1. Neck Heavy!... That should do a 90 degree turn on its own...downward!
tauzero
In what way is it an upright bass?
The same way as a Dean Pace is. Bass onna stick, innit. Except that it hasn't even got the stick.
Matt P
weirdly this kind of appeals to me, i'd probably bolt it to an old cymbal stand i've got lying around and then use it for acoustic gigs, it could do with a bit of re-shaping on the body to smooth it off though, and it would need some kind of control system for pickup blend and tone. luckily it's too expensive for what it is but if it gets relisted at a lower price i might be tempted. it's a Yamaha neck so at least that would be a good starting point for a fretless project. Apeneck Sweeney
In what way is it an upright bass?
in the same way that it would have been transformed into a double bass if he'd painted f holes on it instead of getting the saw out. Apeneck Sweeney
Surprise, surprise. It didn't sell. Perhaps the seller should try attaching a chin rest to it and selling it as an electric violin.
